Third-Party Service Providers:

No mobile opt-in will be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your email address with trusted third-party service providers (such as maintenance or property management Companies) to facilitate communications on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it solely for the services they provide to us.


Cancelation/Refund:

Guests will receive a full refund if the booking is canceled, in writing, at least 60 full days prior to the reservation date. From 30-60 days before the reservation date, guests may reschedule their dates to another AVAILABLE date and receive a voucher in the VALUE of their stay to be used in the future. Cancellations within 30 days of reservation date are non-refundable. Cancellation requests due to guest illness, injury, or personal matters will fall under our general cancellation policy. Our credit card processor retains 3% of all transactions. In the event of a refund-qualifying cancellation, the 3% fee will be deducted from the refund amount.


Personal Information:

We are dedicated to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. Rest assured, none of your personal data will ever be sold to third-party companies. We collect personal data solely for security purposes and to facilitate communication regarding the services you have purchased.

You always have the right to opt-out of any marketing communications from us. Should you wish to unsubscribe, you may do so at any time.

We take the protection of your personal and financial data very seriously. To this end, we employ rigorous security measures, including encryption and secure storage, to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our commitment to data security ensures that your personal and financial details are handled with the utmost care and professionalism, providing you with peace of mind when using our services.


Reservation Payments & Fee’s:

Payment in full is required when making a reservation. Our nightly rates are subject to change based on seasonal demand and availability.

Charges may include but are not limited to, a nightly rate fee, local lodging taxes, cleaning fee, early check-in/check-out fee’s, damaged item fee’s. All taxes charged will be remitted to the appropriate authority.


Right of Refusal:

We reserve the right to immediately and irrevocably cancel without refund if guests exhibit disruptive or unruly behavior, or if unregistered guests are found on the property without refund.


Operation or Maintenance Issues:

Be advised that there may be amenities or appliances that require repair or maintenance. Please communicate any issues you encounter upon check-in. We will do our best to promptly solve any issues that you bring to our attention. We cannot guarantee the operation of any of our appliances or amenities, and no rental concessions or refunds will be awarded for the period in which these items are non-operational.


Surveillance:

Please note that this property is monitored by exterior security cameras. We do not conduct any video or audio surveillance inside any of our properties, ensuring your privacy and comfort during your stay.


Smoking:

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property at all times. Should any signs of smoking be detected, including odor, an additional cleaning fee will be applied. The fee amount varies based on the extent of the damage. If you choose to smoke outside, please ensure that you properly dispose of cigarette butts.


Exterior Consideration:

We kindly request that you preserve the natural surroundings. Please stick to marked trails, leave natural items where they are, dispose of all waste properly, clean up after your dog, and show consideration for the trees, wildlife, and other guests.


Quiet Hours:

11:00PM - 8:00AM


Prohibited Items:

  • Firearms
  • Fireworks
  • Imported firewood
  • Illegal substances
  • Glitter, sand, or any small granular items that are a nuisance to clean
  • Tape on walls/furniture
  • Flushing anything other than toilet paper

Property Damage:

The registered guest assumes sole responsibility for the property during the term of their stay. Any damage incurred during the rental period is to be charged to the registered guest. The fee varies based on the extent of the damage.


Liability Disclosure:

Whittaker Knez Management accepts no liability and will not provide any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire, or the failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles, or the collapse of building structures.

Whittaker Knez Management will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in or around a cabin except as required under Ohio law. The company will not be liable for any indirect, consequential loss or pure economic loss, whether caused by the negligence of the company, its employees, contractors, agents, or otherwise. The total liability of the company shall not exceed the value of your contract.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions may be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by Whittaker Knez Management's negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

SMS Terms and Conditions:

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Whittaker Knez Management LLC related to communication about your stay. Message Frequency Message frequency may vary. Message and Data Rates Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. Opting Out You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with "STOP" to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number. Help and Support If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS service, reply with "HELP" to any SMS message you receive, or contact our customer support team at 330-235-1675. SMS Privacy Policy Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the stated categories in this privacy policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
